Migracell®
Producers of packaging for consumer goods and articles, like food packaging, are obliged to verify the conformity of their products in accordance with the European Framework Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 or other specific guidelines, directives or recommendations. Due to the long expertise in migration testing FABES developed the migration cell MigraCell® in cooperation with Gaßner Glastechnik.
MigraCell® enables the accurate and repeatable realisation of required examinations. It has proven to be a reliable tool for experimental use in the field of determination of mass transfer from consumer goods into dry and liquid food simulants or other extraction media. With MigraCell® it is possible to perform one sided contact as well as immersed experimental set-ups.
