It is possible to consider contact materials with cylindrical geometry, such as those found in drinking water pipes, as well as contact materials with planar geometry. If the water consumption scenario, a “repeated use” event, is known, this software can be used to estimate the contamination of drinking water with substances, e.g. from the plastic pipe, for periods of time ranging from zero to 99 years. In the calculations with SIMAQUA‑F, it can be taken into account that the water from the main pipe is pure or already contains certain amounts of substances that also occur in the plastic pipes of the house.
